ST. CLOUD, MN – Bruins complete the Weekend Sweep of St. Cloud on Saturday Night with the help of Walter Zacher’s team-leading 19th goal of the season.

After picking up their 400th win in Franchise history on Friday night, the Bruins now looked to complete the weekend sweep of the Norsemen up in St. Cloud. In a similar fashion to Friday, the Bruins would get on the board first as Jimmy Goffredo 11th goal on the season while on the Exit Reality Refined Power Play would come at the 8:52 mark of the period. Gavin Morrisey and Dylan Cook would pick up the assist on the lone goal of the period for the Bruins.

Looking to try and even it up in the 2nd, St. Cloud would come out hot. Leading rookie Andrew Clarke would get his 7th goal of the season at 4:12 of the period to tie the game up at 1-1. Walter Zacher would score the eventual game-winner twelve minutes into the period with his team-leading 19th goal of the year. From there, Trent Wiemken would shut the door and help secure the fifth straight win for the Bruins and the Weekend sweep. Wiemken would stop 20 of the 21 shots he would face en route to his 11th win of the season.

These two teams will meet again next weekend with Friday the 20th being back up in St. Cloud and Saturday the 21st back at Riverside Arena.
