Bruins Sweep Wings

The Bruins continued their weekend series against the Aberdeen Wings at Odde Ice Center in Aberdeen South Dakota. The Bruins started the weekend on Friday night with a 3-1 over the Wings in the first ever meeting between the two teams. The 1st period the Wings got on the board first as Ryan Wagner scored on the rush. The Wings continued their offensive surge as Cory Ward pumped in Aberdeen’s second goal of the period. At the first intermission the Bruins were trailing 2-0. The second period the Bruins went to work offensively and Jordan Greenberg slid one past Fredrick Liesner, the goal was unassisted. A couple of minutes later it was Jack Walsh for the Bruins, assisting on the goal was Sean Murphy, tying the game at 2-2. The Wings bounced back after giving up two unanswered goals and Tim Tuscher gave the Wings the lead 3-2 at the second intermission. The third period the Bruins netted one early as Charlie Adams scored tying the game 3-3. Next it was Alex Tesensky giving the Bruins a 4-3 lead, assisting on the goal was Jeremy Finger and Connor Quinn. Alex Tesensky now has a four game point streak. The Bruins win 4-3 and sweep the Wings 2 games to none. The Bruins are back in action on Thursday November 11th in Owatonna as they take on the Excpress.
