Stauber Loaned to USHL Dubuque, Makes Debut

DUBUQUE, Iowa – For the second time in a week, an Austin Bruin has been loaned to the USHL and made his debut. Levi Stauber has been loaned to the Dubuque Fighting Saints, playing in his first game action on Thursday night.

The Hermantown, MN, native, has played in 23 games for the Bruins this season totaling six goals and four assists.  Stauber began his junior career last season playing in 10 games for the Bruins after finishing out his high-school career. The 5-foot-11 forward has committed to playing Division-I hockey at Michigan Tech starting in 2020

Stauber follows goaltender Brett Miller who was loaned earlier this week to the Cedar Rapid RoughRiders. Miller played in his first USHL game this past Saturday.

The Bruins take to the ice this weekend with back-to-back games against the Bismarck Bobcats on the road. Following the holiday break, the Bruins will open with the Minnesota Wilderness in Cloquet, MN before returning to Riverside Arena on Saturday, December 29.

The first 100 fans in attendance for the game on the 29th will receive a Bruins cowbell presented by First Farmers and Merchant’s Bank. Tickets for the game go on sale at all of the Bruins ticket vendors including, Games People Play, Hy-Vee, Holiday Inn, and Jim’s Marketplace, on December 19.
