BLAINE, MN- 11 different Bruins would find themselves on the scorecard as Austin would take down the Wichita Falls Warriors by the final of 6-1.

On the first night of the 2021 NAHL Showcase in Blaine, MN, the Bruins would face the Wichita Falls Warriors for the first time in Franchise history. Both teams would come out of the gate strong as for the first five minutes of the game, the action would be back and forth. That would change however as 5:25 into the 1st period, Jens Richards would break the proverbial ice with an unassisted Power Play goal. Wichita Falls, however, would score themselves while on the Power Play as Riley Brueck would beat Bruins netminder, Hudson Hodges, glove side to tie things up at 1-1.

The score would stay 1-1 to end the 1st period, but just :29 into the 2nd period, Dylan Gajewski would score his first career NAHL goal as he would receive a beautiful feed from Xavier Jean-Louis. Jean-Louis would tally his first career NAHL point on the assist. Bruins would add two more goals before the end of the period as Carson Riddle, and Jens Richards would both score to give Austin a 4-1 lead after 40 minutes of action at the NSC Super Rink. Sutter Muzzatti and Jack Malinski would draw the assist from Riddles and Richards goals, respectively.

Bruins, not content with a 4-1 lead would come out into the 3rd period strong. Austin Salani and Marian Haborak would connect with Alex Trombley to give the Bruins a 5-1 lead 10:58 into the 3rd period. This would be the 3rd Power Play goal for the Bruins on the night.
