Peyton Hart Signs Tender with Bruins

Mar 3, 2020

AUSTIN, Minn. – The Austin Bruins of the North American 3 Hockey League are proud to announce the tender signing of forward Peyton Hart of the Rochester Grizzlies.

Hart, 18, is in his second season with the Grizzlies and was named team captain earlier this season. Last year, the Delafield, WI native tallied 36 points (14 goals, 22 assists) in 46 games played. In 41 games this season, the forward has already matched his goal total and has 24 points for a total of 38 points, good for fourth best on the team. Hart has also appeared in six games with the Bruins this season.

Hart is the second Grizzlies player to sign an NAHL tender for next season following goalie Sean Guerin who signed a tender with the Wichita Falls Warriors two weeks ago.

With Hart signing a tender with the Bruins, he is no longer eligible for the NAHL Draft and cannot be recruited by another NAHL team as his rights belong exclusively to  the Austin. The Bruins are very familiar with Hart who played six games earlier this season with the club.

Up nexy on the schedule for the Bruins, they host the Chippewa Steel for a pair of games this weekend, Friday and Saturday nights. Tickets for those games are on sale now at any one of the Bruins vendors including Games People Play, Hy-Vee, Holiday Inn, and Jim’s Marketplace.
