Owatonna -The Bruins traveled north to Four Seasons Centre for another matchup against the Owatonna Express.  Coming into action this Wednesday the Bruins have won 2 of 6 meetings between the two teams. The Bruins have really picked up play in their last 10 games and are 5-5. Leading scorer Charlie Adams has nine points in his last nine games, and is a +6 rating. The Express entered Wednesday night tied for first place with the Bismarck Bobcats. The Express have been keeping their games close, four of their last five have either ended in overtime or a shootout. The first period the Express started the scoring as TJ Christenson pumped one in. Assisting on the goal was Lawrence Cournellier and Garret Orhn. Austin outshot Owatonna 13 to 12 in the first period. They Bruins hit the dressing room down 1-0. The second period it was more express as Andy Singerhouse scored a power play goal the Express had the lead after two periods of play 2-0. The Bruins came out of the locker room with a chip on their shoulder as they pelted Charles Williams with 14 shots. Chris Fischer dented the twine for the Bruins, assisting on the goal was Sam Olson. Adding another for the Bruins the top prospect Jeremy Finger knotting his third goal of the season. Picking up assists on the Bruins second tally was Mike Adomowicz and Connor Quinn. After rallying back to score two unanswered goals. Ben Persian sealed the deal with less than two minutes to go for the express, as they go on to win 3-2. The Bruins have a home series against the Coulee Region Chill this weekend. On Friday and Saturday the Bruins play at 7:30 on Friday night. On Saturday the Bruins play at 7:00.
