AUSTIN, MN – The Austin Bruins, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that forward Jens Richards has announced his commitment to continue his education and play NCAA Division I hockey at the University of Vermont.
“The Bruins organization has had a huge impact on my career and I couldn’t be where I am today without their help,” stated Jens Richards. “I’m super excited to announce my commitment to the University of Vermont!”
Richards, 19, has appeared in 103 career games with the Bruins and compiled a stat line of 26G-29A-55P. Prior to his time with the Bruins, Richards spent his prep hockey years with the Northstar Christian Academy 18U AAA program in Alexandria, MN.

The University of Vermont is an NCAA Division 1 institution in Burlington, Vermont. The Catamounts are members of the Hockey East Conference and play at the Gutterson Fieldhouse.
