Apr 1, 2024

AUSTIN, MN – The North American Hockey League (NAHL) today announced the Divisional Stars of the Week presented by Bauer Hockey for the week ending March 31, 2024.  The Divisional Stars of the Week is a weekly feature during the 2023-24 season that honors the top-performing players in each of the four NAHL divisions. Only players who are nominated by their respective teams are considered for the Divisional Players of the Week award.

Austin forward Dylan Cook lit up the scoresheet in two appearances over the weekend where he combined for 10 points. The Princeton, MN native assisted on all five of the Bruins goals in a 5-1 win over North Iowa to start the weekend. In the second meet-up on Saturday, Cook netted a goal and dished out four assists in another 5-1 Bruins victory. The University of Massachusetts-Lowell commit has played in 55 games this season where he has 14 goals and 37 assists for 51 points. “Dylan had a huge weekend for us,” Head Coach Steve Howard said. “Honestly, I think it’s the most points I’ve seen in any weekend series from a player since I started here seven seasons ago. We need our top players to perform well down the stretch and Dylan certainly did that for us.”
