Dante Sheriff Named to All-NAHL First Team

AUSTIN, Minn. – Continuing to collect the hardware, Dante Sheriff was been named to the ALL-NAHL First Team on Thursday.

Sheriff, 20, has already collected the NAHL Central Division MVP and NAHL Central Division Forward of the Year awards while also being named to the All-Central Division First Team.

The All-NAHL First Team is comprised of players from across the entire league, with those being selected representative of the league’s best in 2019-20. Joining the Woodbridge, Ontario, native on the All-NAHL First team are forwards Joey Baez (Lone Star) and Christian Gorscak (Johnstown), as well as defenseman Sam Miller (Shreveport) and Hampus Rydqvist (Maryland), and goaltender Cayden Bailey (Lone Star).

Committed to Mercyhurst University (NCAA D1), Sheriff will begin his collegiate career in the fall of 2020 following a wildly successful career in Austin where he took over as the team’s all-time leading scorer, assist getter, and ranking fourth all-time in goals scored.
