Bruins Win 5-1

The Austin Bruins were back in action as the Black and yellow battled the Aberdeen Wing on Thanksgiving Day.  The opening frame from the Odde Ice Center was as fast as expected. Austin took a 1-0 lead early as Chris Fischer was set up by AJ Reid and Joe Caprio. Austin had 16 shots in the first period and led 1-0. The second frame Jake Arroyo fought Dylan Dailey and won his first fight of his career. Brandon Wahlin fed Drew Anderson who scored his first goal of his NAHL career making it 2-0. Austin took a 3-0 lead on the Power Play, with a goal from Chris Fischer, assisting was Riley Colvard and Jay Dickman. Aberdeen scored their first of the night with a goal from Mike Parnell. At the end of two periods of play Austin led 4-1. The third period Austin continued its dominance and added a fifth goal of the night as it came from John Simonson.  The Bruins completed the win with a score of 5-1.
