ROCHESTER, MN – Logan Haskins' goal with just over one minute remaining in the 3rd period propelled the Bruins to a 4-3 exhibition victory over the Granite City LumberJacks (NA3HL) on Wednesday Night at Graham Arena in Rochester. Austin used a three goal second period to take control of the game as Andrew Rupert, A.J. Drobot, and Nigel Nelson all found the back of the net.

Grantite City scored the lone first period goal on a powerplay when Will Mix buried a rebound off the back boards. Rupert briefly tied the game early in the 2nd period before Granite City's John Suess converted to give the LumberJacks a 2-1 lead. Back to back strikes by Drobot and Nelson gave the Bruins a 3-2 lead at the end of the 2nd period.

With about two minutes remaining in regulation, Lucas Carroll finished off a 2-on-1 in front and tied the game at 3. Less than a minute later, Haskins pushed a rebound home for the eventual game winner.

The Bruins travel to Des Moines for an exhibition with the USHL's Buccaneers on Thursday afternoon before taking on the Minnesota Magicians at Braemar Arena in Edina on Saturday night at 7:05 to wrap up their preseason schedule.
