Nov 29, 2017

AUSTIN, MN – The Austin Bruins, proud members of the North American Hockey League, have announced yet another tender signing, adding 2000-born forward Levi Stauber to the mix.

Stauber hails from Duluth, MN and is the captain at Duluth-Marshall, alma-mater of current Bruins d-man Lane Krenzen. The duo played together there for two seasons. In his Junior season of 2016-17, Stauber averaged two points per game and over a goal per game, scoring 27 goals (with 23 assists) in 25 games. He already has seven points in just two games this season and is two points shy of 100 for his high school career, currently with 98 points in 98 games.

Stauber weighs in at 5’11, 165 pounds. The 17-year-old is a left-handed shooter. In late August, he announced his commitment to Michigan Tech, where former Bruin Justin Misiak currently plays.

The Bruins tender list for 2018-19 currently looks like this:

F Joe Winkelmann, CarShield (NAPHL)
G Kyle McLellan, CarShield (NAPHL)
D Kyle Gudme, Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (HPHL)
F Levi Stauber, Duluth-Marshall (HS)
