Bruins Lose in Shootout

The Austin Bruins traveled to Alexandria to take on the Blizzard for the ninth time this season.  In period number one Colton Kramer added his ninth goal of the season assisting was Jeremy Finger and CJ Smith. The Blizzard answered back as they jammed one past Tyler Bruggeman making it 1-1. The second frame it was Connor Quinn the Bruins captain making it a 2-1 Bruins lead on the power play. Assisting was John Simonson and Jon Gehrt. At the second intermission the Bruins led 2-1. The final frame the Blizzard put one in with just 9 seconds remaining in the contest sending the game to overtime.  Both teams could not produce in the overtime. The Blizzard picked up the victory in the shootout. Tomorrow night the Bruins will attempt to conquer the Aberdeen Wings at Riverside Arena.
