Bruins Launch Hometown Food Security Project Fundraiser

Feb 29, 2024

AUSTIN, MN – The Bruins are taking their talents off the ice as we look to achieve a new goal, ensuring food security for our hometown! In partnership with the Hometown Food Security Project of Mower County, the Bruins have launched a fundraiser to help give back to those in need.

The Hometown Food Security Project is a collective impact effort addressing the issues of hunger and food insecurity in Mower County, Minnesota. Led by Hormel Foods and the United Way of Mower County, the Project Coalition identifies resources, gaps, barriers, and opportunities by engaging content/context experts and community members with lived experiences. Their vision is to ensure no one goes hungry in Mower County.

By rallying behind the Austin Bruins, you’re not just backing a team, but championing a vital initiative that strengthens the fabric of our community. Together, we can score a victory against hunger and ensure that no one in our hometown goes to bed hungry. Join us in this noble endeavor and be a part of something bigger than the game itself. Your support matters. Let’s make a meaningful impact together! To donate, or to find out more information about the fundraiser, you can click the following link to visit the fundraising page.
