Bruins Hunt Bobcats

The Austin Bruins sparked off their last regular season home series against the 1stplace Bismarck Bobcats this Friday night. The Bobcats started the scoring on the power play taking a 1-0 lead. Bismarck made it 2-0 with a bad angle shot the deflected off of the back of Tyler Bruggeman. Austin cut the lead in half with a Jeremy Finger goal assisting was Charlie Adams. At the end of one period of play Austin trailed 2-1. The second period John Kirby tied the game 2-2 assists went to Charlie Adams and AJ Reid. The Bobcats regained the lead with a goal from Dan Kovar.  Austin answered back again with another Jeremy Finger goal assisting was Charlie Adams and Jon Gerht. Austin took the lead with an AJ Reid goal; assists went to Brandon Wahlin and Matt Hansen. At the end of two periods of play Austin led 4-3. The third period Austin scored on a 5 on 3 to make it a two goal lead. The Bruins picked up the victory 5-3 over the first place Bismarck Bobcats.
