Bruins Frozen by Blizzard

The Bruins hit the road to gear up for their second series in a row against the Alexandria Blizzard. The Bruins picked up a victory last night as they skated to a 6-4 victory at Riverside Arena. Coming into the weekend the Bruins have four of their last five games.  The Bruins swept the Blizzard last weekend at Riverside Arena as the Bruins continue to win games on their home ice. The opening frame from the Runestone Community Center featured the Blizzard scoring first. Michael Pieper took a shot that was tipped by Nardo Nagtzaam. At the first intermission the Bruins were trailing 1-0. The second period from Alexandria Minnesota was more of the same. This time it was Brent Bain for the Blizzard assists went to Steve Zierke and Tommy Williams. At the second intermission the Bruins trailed 2-0. The third period the Bruins just could not get anything past Alexandria goaltender Jake Williams. The Bruins did get a spark of offense late in the period.  The Bruins than went on the power play and Alex Tesensky scored, assisting on the goal was Jordan Greenberg and Charlie Adams.  Keegan Asmundson stopped 34 shots as Keegan continues play well in net.  Bruins lost by a final score of 2-1.
