Bruins Freeze Chill!

The Austin Bruins kicked off a three game weekend this Friday night in Onalaska Wisconsin to battle the Coulee Region Chill. The opening frame the Bruins got on the board as Mike Bond and Nolan Kirley set up Jeremy Finger. The Bruins led after one period of play 1-0. The second period the Bruins went back on the attack as Matt Hansen and CJ Smith set up Austin Nelson making it 2-0 Bruins. Coulee added two goals in the second period making it a 2-2 score at the intermission. The third period Charlie Adams scored from a sharp angle making it a 3-2 for the Bruins assisting was Colton Kramer. Austin Nelson made it a two goal lead with a scrum in front of the net Chris Fischer and Matt Hansen assisted on the tally. The Chill made it a one goal game approaching the halfway point in the third period. The Bruins continued to play strong in the third period.
