Bruins Drop Game Three

The Austin Bruins were back at Riverside Arena to play game three of the Central Division Championship Series against the Bismarck Bobcats. The Black and Yellow has a solid pace early in the first period. Austin had a couple of power play opportunities in the period but could not get anything established. The Bobcats took a 1-0 lead with a Castan Sommer goal. The Bruins outshot Bismarck 7-6 but trailed 1-0 after one period. The second period Bismarck controlled the pace and added two more goals. At the end of two periods Austin trailed Bismarck 3-0 and was outshot 18-14. The final period Austin took over, Chris Fischer scored the first goal for the Bruins the assist went to AJ Reid. The Bruins pulled Tyler Bruggeman for an extra attacker as AJ Reid found the back of the net assisting was Trevor Waldoch and Christian Folin. Two late goals was not enough as the Bobcats win game three, 3-2. The Austin Bruins continue the quest for the Robertson Cup tomorrow night at Riverside Arena.
