Bruins Dominate!

The Austin Bruins were back in action as they battled the expansion Minotauros from Minot North Dakota. The opening period from Austin Minnesota was scoreless.  Austin outshot Minot 15-6 in the first. The second period the Bruins got to work just 24 seconds into the period. Charlie Adams scored his first goal of the season assisting was John Kirby and Jeremy Finger. The Bruins added their second of the hockey game when Brandon Wahlin set up Riley Colvard. After two periods of play the Bruins had a 2-0 lead. The final period featured a goalie fight, as Bruggeman and Jake Hebda went at it. The Bruins capitalized on a power play as John Simonson scored his fourth of the season. Assists went to Charlie Adams and Christian Folin. Then Christian Folin scored with an empty net, making it 4-0 Bruins. Minot then scored with less than 30 seconds remaining as Carl Krieger beat Nicholas Lehr.
