Bruins Dismantle Minot

The Austin Bruins were back in action as they battled the Minotauros at Maysa Arena in Minot North Dakota. CJ Smith started the scoring party in the first period the assist went to Jeremy Finger. The Bruins made it 2-0 as Christian Folin added a power play goal, assists went to Brandon Wahlin and John Simonson. The Bruins took a three goal lead on the power play, Chase McDonald was set up by CJ Smith and Trevor Waldoch. Charlie Adams made it 4-0, assists went to Trevor Waldoch and Colton Kramer. The Minotauros had a total of 39 minutes in the box in the first period. The second intermission the Bruins continued to dismantle the Minotauros. The second period John the Big Rig Kirby made it 5-0, assists went to Charlie Adams.  Austin made it 6-0 when Brandon Wahlin went upstairs assisting was Johnny Simonson. Chris Fischer fed John Simonson for a shorthanded goal making it a 7-0 lead.  Minot had over an hour in penalty minutes through two periods. The third period Trevor Waldoch made it 8-0 with a blast from the point assisting was John Kirby. The Bruins bested the Minotauros 8-0, Tyler Bruggeman picked up his first shutout as a member of the Austin Bruins.
