Bruins Bounce Back

The Austin Bruins were back in action at Riverside Arena as they battled the Alexandria Blizzard. The Bruins got off to a great start in period number one controlling play. The Bruins started the scoring on the power play as Christian Folin was set up by Charlie Adams. The Bruins led 1-0 after one period of play. The second period the Bruins continued to control the game offensively. Extracurricular activities after the whistle had the Bruins on a five minute power play. The Bruins started the third with 2:17 left on the power play as Jake Myers continued to make saves in the third for the Blizzard. The Bruins regained the lead on the power play as John Kirby scored his team leading seventh goal of the season. Charlie Adams added one with an empty net, making it a 3-1 victory Bruins.
