Bruins Best Chill

The Bruins wrapped up regular season play in Onalaska Wisconsin as they battled the Coulee Region Chill at the Onalaska Omni Center. Austin got off to a quick start with a goal from the big Jay Dickman assisting was AJ Reid and Grant Eichstadt. The Bruins than got a goal from AJ Reid, assists went to Travis Maxwell and Chris Fischer. Austin had 15 shots in the period and Coulee had 10, Austin led 2-0. The second frame Nate Mondry found the twine assists went to Joe Caprio and Brandon Wahlin. The Black and Yellow made it a 4-0 score with a goal from Josh Bretner, the helpers went to Easton Viitala and Nate Mondry. At the end of two periods of play Austin led 4-0.  In the third period CJ Smith added the final goal of Austin’s stellar regular season. Coulee was able to squeeze one past Jason Pawloski with just moments remaining in regulation.  With the 5-1 victory the B’s are 10-2 against the Chill this season. Austin will start the playoffs on April 12th at Riverside Arena against the Minot Minotauros. If you don’t make it to the Barn you can tune into AM 1480 KAUS for live play by play.
