Bruins Battle Back to Beat Bobcats 4-3

AUSTIN, MN- Matys Brassard and John Larkin would record their first goals as a Bruins as Austin would take down the visiting Bismarck Bobcats by the final of 4-3.

In the first meeting between the two clubs this season, things would start out slow but that would change 7:38 into the 1st period as Issak Brassard and Michal Jasenec would combine to find Matys Brassard down low to score and Matys would record his first career NAHL Goal and Goal as a Bruin to give Austin the early 1-0 lead. 6 minutes later, the newest Bruins Defensemen, John Larkin, would score his first as a Bruin, and Matys Brassard and Jack Malinski would combine to give the Bruins a 2-0 lead after the 1st period of play inside Riverside Arena.

Bismarck would score two in the 2nd period to tie things up as Calvin Hanson and Blaise Miller would both score and bring us to a 2-2 game after the 2nd period of action. The game would stay tied at 2-2 until 9:31 into the 3rd period when Therien Thiesing would score his first of the season off an assist from Liam Whitehouse and Gavin Morrissey to give the Bruins a 3-2 lead. Bruins would then add another from Carson Riddle to make it 4-2 but would be short-lived as Michael Neumeier would score 20 seconds later to bring the Bobcats back within 1 with 1:30 left to play. Bruins goalie, Hudson Hodges would stand tall thought help back-stop the Bruins to a win over Bismarck. Hodges would stop 25 of the 28 shots he would face.
