BRUINS ALUMNI REPORT: USHL box scores littered with former B's

NCAA DI: Jason Pawloski (Bruins ’12-13) lost on Friday for the first time in his collegiate career, but rebounded on Saturday as Minnesota State dropped Northern Michigan, 3-1. Pawloski made a total of 29 saves in the weekend split, allowing only 3 goals.

NCAA DIII: Trevor Boyd (Bruins ’14-15) picked up a pair of assists in Adrian’s 11-0 rout of Aurora on Saturday night. The Bulldogs continue to thump their competition at 12-1-1 overall, still sitting at #2 in the national DIII poll.

USHL: Jake Kielly (Bruins ’14-15) faced 38 shots and stopped 35 as Tri City topped Waterloo, 6-3 on Friday. In the same game, Nico Sturm (Bruins ’14-15) scored a goal and added an assist. Trey Dodd (Bruins ’13-15) had an assist in each of Dubuque’s weekend games – a 4-3 loss to Cedar Rapids on Friday followed by a 3-2 win over Green Bay the next night. Guillaume Leclerc (Bruins ’13-14) had a helper in Madison’s 5-3 loss to Youngstown on Saturday. Also on Saturday, Riese Zmolek (Bruins ’14-15) led all skaters with a +3 rating as Cedar Rapids blanked the U.S. U-18 team, 5-0.
