BRUINS ALUMNI REPORT: Pawloski stays unbeaten

NCAA DI: Jason Pawloski (Bruins ’12-13) improved his unbeaten record to 7-0-4 with a pair of home wins over Alabama-Huntsville. The Mavs allowed only 9 shots in a 2-1 win on Friday and then Pawloski made 14 saves to win 4-1 on Saturday. His 1.62 goals against average is now 6th best in the nation. Brennan Sanford (Bruins ’13-14) scored his fourth goal of the season and then assisted on the game winner in Michigan State’s 4-3 win against Wisconsin on Saturday. Alex Jasiek (Bruins ’14-15) got his first collegiate assist and second point of his career, setting up a goal in Dartmouth’s 6-3 loss to New Hampshire on Saturday.

USHL: Jake Kielly (Bruins ’14-15) made 39 saves on 42 shots as Tri City fell to Bloomington, 4-3 in a shootout on Friday night. J.C. MacLean (Bruins ’14-15) notched the game winner for Omaha in a 4-1 win over Cedar Rapids on Saturday. Goaltender Evan Smith’s (Bruins ’14-15) WHL (Western Hockey League) rights were traded from the Victoria Royals to the Saskatoon Blades. Smith heads to Saskatoon from Sioux City, where he was serving as the backup goaltender.
