Dec 10, 2018

NCAA DI: The Clarkson Golden Knights got a big victory on  Saturday night, 3-0 over St. Lawrence, thanks in part to a pair of former Bruins, Jake Kielly (14-15) and Nico Sturm (14-15).

Goaltender Kielly turned aside 15 shots in the game to record the second shutout of his junior season, and his ninth overall win. Sturm helped out offensively adding a goal, his seventh tally this year. Sturm now has 17 points (7G, 10A) in 15 games played.

NCAA DIII:  Evan Cholak (15-18) has played in nine of St. Norbert’s 13 games this season, registering a goal and an assist. The freshman scored his first collegiate goal a little over a week ago on November 30th.

USHL:  Brett Miller made his first start in the USHL since being loaned to the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders this past week. Miller turned aside 26 of 31 shots in his debut, though the RoughRiders weren’t able to outpace the Waterloo Blackhawks, falling by a final score of 5-2.
