Feb 18, 2019

SPHL:  After starting the season in the ECHL with Indiana, goalie Jason Pawloski (Bruins ’12-13) has found his place in net for the Knoxville IceBears of the SPHL. Through four games since joining the team in late January, Pawloski has a 2-2 record with a 2.79 goals-against average and a .919 save percentage. Pawloski and the IceBears currently sit in 5th place in the SPHL standings, middle of the pack and in prime position to make the playoffs.

NCAA DI:  Alex Jasiek (Bruins ’14-15) is having himself a fine senior season at Dartmouth. Through 22 games Jasiek has 13 points (7G, 6A). His Big Green team is one of the least penalized teams in all of college hockey. Dartmouth has a huge rivalry game on their hands this weekend as the Yale Bulldogs invade Hanover, NH.

Minot-born Jade Miller (Bruins ’14-16) is in his junior season at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. The fourth-ranked UMD Bulldogs have gotten three assists from Miller this season as they race for the Frozen Four coming up in April with a title-defense on their mind.

NCAA DIII: Luke Dietsch (Bruins ’13-15) averaged well over half-a-point during his tenure with the Bruins over the course of two seasons. His scoring skills haven’t disappeared as the senior at Augsburg College in Minneapolis has 26 points (11G, 15A) in 25 games. The assistant captain and St. Paul native only has a few more games before his collegiate career comes to an end.
