Apr 8, 2019

NCAA DI: Josh Wilkins (Bruins  14-15) and his Providence Friars. have made it through to this year’s Frozen Four. The Friars took down Minnesota State-Mankato, the third seed in this year’s tournament, and also ousted Cornell after a 4-0 shutout. Wilkins has three goals and three assists in this year’s tournament and leads all Friars in scoring. Up next for Providence, they’ll have to out the defending champion UMD Bulldogs if they want to advance to the NCAA Championship game.

Speaking of UMD, former Bruin Jade Miller and his Bulldogs are looking strong heading into their game with Providence. Attempting to repeat as NCAA Champions, the Bulldogs took out Bowling Green and Quinnipiac to get a ticket for this year’s Frozen Four tournament in Buffalo. Jade Miller did his part with a beautiful backhand pass to help UMD over Quinnipiac in their first game of the tourney.
