BRUINS ALUMNI REPORT: Fazio Contributing in ECHL, Drobot Captaining Fargo Through Stretch

ECHL:  During the 2018-19 season, Mike Fazio (Bruins ’10-11) has split his time between the SPHL and the ECHL. Currently in the ECHL with the Wheeling Nailers, Fazio has five points (1G, 4A) in 17 games played.

NCAA DI:  John Carter MacLean (Bruins ’14-15) is one of three former Bruins on the Clarkson Green Knights roster for the 2018-19 season. Though MacLean doesn’t play as frequently as former Bruins Nico Sturm or Jake Kielly,  MacLean has made an impact with five points (2G, 3A) through 26 games. MacLean and the rest of the Clarkson Green Knights went undefeated (3-0-2) to finish out the regular season and earned third place in the ECAC standings.

Casy Jerry (Bruins ’13-14) has wrapped up his junior season at Canisius College. The Griffins won their season finale, a 2-1 win over RIT. Jerry finished out the season with five points on the season (2G, 3A) and will return for his senior year in 2019-2020.

USHL: In his final season in juniors after a planned collegiate career at the University of Maine, A.J. Drobot (Bruins ’15-17) is hoping to repeat as Clark Cup Champions with his Fargo Force teammates. As team captain, Drobot and the Force sit in fourth place in the USHL Western Divison. The Churchville, PA, native has racked up 14 points (6G, 8A) through 46 games this season.
