Bruins Acquire Forward Elliott Lareau from Maryland

AUSTIN, MN – The Austin Bruins of the North American Hockey League have acquired Centermen Elliott Lareau from the Maryland Black Bears in exchange for a Tender, 2nd Round Draft Pick, and a Development Fee.

A native of St. Laurent, Quebec, Canada, Lareau joins the Bruins after playing 58 career games for the Maryland Black Bears where he collected 14G-20A-34P. Prior to joining the NAHL and the Black Bears, the 6’1″ forward spent time with the Mercer Chiefs 18U AAA and NAPHL programs where he appeared in 17 games and had a stat line of 12G-10A-22P.

“He’s a talented young player,” mentioned Bruins President of Hockey Operations and Head Coach Steve Howard. “His skill and size are a great addition to the club and will be a big asset to our offense.”

The Bruins are home this Friday and Saturday Night as they host the Aberdeen Wings. Saturday Night is Austin Youth Hockey Night and a free Post Game Skate with the Bruins.
