Big Offensive Showing Propels Bruins over Wilderness

AUSTIN, MN- 13 different Bruins found themselves on the scoresheet as Austin took down the visiting Wilderness in tonight’s Preseason battle inside Riverside Arena.

The offensive barrage started early, as Jens Richards found a feed from Alex Trombley and Austin Salani a little over 5 minutes into the 1st period. Shortly after, Trombley would find the back of the net himself to give the Bruins an early 2-0 lead. Bruins would at 3 more in the 1st to give them a 5-0 lead going into the 1st period intermission.

The 2nd period was a different story for the Bruins as the Wilderness would score two quick Power Play goals to cut the lead for Austin down to 5-2. Minnesota would tack on another goal towards the middle of the frame to make it a 2 goal lead for Austin after 40 minutes of play.

3rd period would stay at the 5-3 score until the final 3 minutes of action. Dominic Murano would sneak one through the pad of Wilderness Netminder, Sam LiVecchi. Right after, Jens Richards would get his second of the night in the closing minutes of the 3rd to give the Bruins the 7-3 win over the Wilderness.

Both teams are back at it tomorrow night up in Cloquet, MN. That game can be seen live on HockeyTV as puck drop is set for 7:15 pm CST.
