Austin Bruins Foundation Raises $32,743 for Hormel Institute

AUSTIN, Minn. –  At a check presentation during their game Friday night, the Austin Bruins Foundation presented Hormel Institute with a check for $32,743.

Team co-owners Craig Patrick and Mike Cooper were on hand to present the check to Hormel Institute representatives in front of the Riverside Arena crowd. The Austin Bruins and the Austin Bruins Foundation have donated a total of $274,832 during the past nine seasons to the Hormel Institute as part of their Paint the Rink Pink initiative.

For the past nine seasons, the Bruins along with the town of Austin have fully invested one week during February toward raising cancer awareness and funds for research at the Hormel Institute.
