ECHL: Sent down from the AHL, Eamon McAdam (Bruins ’10-11) slotted in as the starter for game three of the Worcester Railers first round playoff series against Adirondack on Sunday and played well, with 33 saves on 35 shots, but the Railers fell, 3-1. They trail the best of seven series, 2-1 with game four slated for Wednesday night.
NCAA DI: Brennan Sanford (Bruins ’13-14) was honored with the Michigan State Spartans “Amo Bessone Award” for athletic and academic achievement and community participation. He just completed his Junior hockey.
USHL: AJ Drobot (Bruins ’15-17) registered a goal and an assist in Fargo’s 5-1 victory in game of their first-round playoff series on Tuesday night against Tri City. Jake Kucharski (Bruins ’16-17) was #21 on the NHL Central Scouting list of goaltenders, released this week. Fellow Bruins goalie alum Zach Driscoll (Bruins ’14-15) awaits a second-round opponent in the Clark Cup playoffs, as Omaha gained a first-round bye.
