Tough loss

The Bruins traveled to Wisconsin for the first time this season as they took on the Coulee Region Chill of Onalaska.  Coulee relocated this season, they were formerly known as the Northern Iowa Outlaws. The Bruins had a three game winning streak until last night’s tough loss to the Owatonna Express. The first period Zac Frischmon got the scoring started for the Chill. The Chill pumped in one more before the period ended, Connor Gaarder was credited with the goal. The shots were dead even at 13 after one period, the Chill led 2-0. The Second period Lucas Dillon scored one more for the chill. After two periods of play Coulee led the game 3-0, despite being outshot 26-29. The final period James Dickinson dented the twine on the power play, assists on the play went to Cody Hotchkin and Mathieu Maret. A couple of moments later it was James Dickinson again, Cody Hotchkin was the only assist on Dickinson’s second goal of the game. Next it was Cody Hotchkin tying up the game for the Bruins, assisting on the goal was Chris Fischer and Jonathan Gerht. The Chill answered the Bruins three unanswered goals with one more from Lucas Dillon. The Chill would hold on to win 4-3. The Bruins are back in action tomorrow night at 7:00 at Coulee Region.
