Jason Pawloski Records First Shutout

The Austin Bruins traveled 600 miles to the Magical city of Minot North Dakota to tangle with the Minotauros. The first stanza from Maysa Arena the B’s had the momentum as Nolan Kirley dropped the gloves and sent Paul Sorenson to the locker room to get attended to by the medical staff. The Bruins took the momentum and got a goal from power forward Eason Viitala, Nate Mondry had the assist. Austin than scored on the Power Play as Riley Colvard was set up  by CJ Smith and Josh Bretner. At the end of two periods of play Austin led 2-0 and outshot Minot 13-7. The Bruins continued the spark of offense in the second with a goal from John Simonson, assisting was CJ Smith and Cody Dixon. After two periods of play Austin led 3-0 and outshot Minot 28-20. The final frame John Simonson scored his second of the evening giving Austin a 4-0 lead. Austin added one more goal on the Power Play from Cody Dixon. The Austin Bruins pick up the 5-0 victory as Jason Pawloski records his first shutout in the NAHL. The Black and Yellow conclude play Saturday night against the Minotauros.
