The Austin Bruins wrapped up their home series against the Minotauros at Riverside Arena. The Austin Bruins came out with some adrenaline in the first period. Jeremy Finger gave the Bruins a 1-0 lead as he tipped in a shot from Matt Hansen, Brandon Wahlin also picked up an assist. Jeremy Finger added his second goal of the evening moments later assisting was Matt Hansen and Jon Gerht. The Bruins than added a power play goal courtesy of AJ Reid assisting was John Gerht and John Simonson. The Bruins took a 4-0 lead with a shorthanded goal from Chris Fischer assisting was Trevor Waldoch. At the end of one period of play the Bruins led 4-0 and outshot Minot 12-5. The second period Minot scored on a power play making it 4-1. The second period featured three fights all won by the Bruins. The Bruins used the momentum to get back on the board as Colton Kramer added his 15thof the season. At the end of two periods of play Austin led 5-1. Austin added their second power play goal of the night from Matt Hansen assisting was Charlie Adams and Jon Gerht. Minot added two unanswered goals to inch closer to the Bruins lead. Brandon Wahlin went tape to tape for Charlie Adams who scored the Bruins 7thgoal of the evening. Minot added one more but it was not enough as the Bruins win 7-4.The Bruins will conclude action Sunday against the Coulee Region Chill at the Omni Center in Onalaska Wisconsin.
