Alexandria MN- the Bruins were back in action as they traveled north to face off against the Alexandria Blizzard. In the first period Bruins goaltender Keegan Asmundson stopped 15 pucks to keep the game scoreless.  In the second period Chase McDonald put the Bruins on the board with a rebound goal, assisting the goal was leading scorer James Dickinson and John Kirby the Austin Native. The third period Alexandria carried the play and knotted the score at 1-1 with 7 seconds to go.  For the game Keegan Asmundson stopped 50 of 51 shot and 4 of 6 in the shootout.  Offensively Charlie Adams put the icing on the cake as the Bruins skated to a 2 – 1 victory.   “This was a great win for our team, playing on the road and giving up a late goal to still come out with two points was huge!” said Head Coach Chris Tok. Austin will be on the road again next weekend as they take on the Owatonna Express, games can be heard on Fast Hockey.com.
