Bruins Win Another Shootout!!

The Austin Bruins were back in action at Riverside Arena to renew the rivalry with the Bismarck Bobcats. In the first Brandon Wahlin added his 108th point of his career with a Power Play goal assisting was Riley Colvard and Jay Dickman. Bismarck was able to counter with just 97 seconds left in the first. At the first intermission the score was tied 1-1. The second period of play both clubs had plenty of chances but could not get the puck across the goal line. At the end of two periods of play Austin and Bismarck were tied 1-1. The third period Austin scored another Power Play goal, this time it was Cody Dixon assisting was John Simonson and Riley Colvard. Bismarck was able to counter with to monumental goals. The B;s had some fireworks of their own as Drew Anderson put the puck behind Aaron Nelson. With no conclusion at the end of regulation the game went to overtime. In the overtime both teams had their chances but could not add to the score sheet. In the shootout Riley Colvard had the decider as the Bruins win 4-3.
