Bruins WIN!!!

The Austin Bruins continued their home series against the Alexandria blizzard. The Bruins lost last night to the Blizzard 5-3. The Blizzard has won four of their last five games. The Bruins are looking for their fourth home win of the season. The Bruins came out in the first period playing with a chip on their shoulder. The Blizzard had two quick penalties to open the contest. The Bruins took advantage of the power play and Trevor Waldoch got a pass from Charlie Adams and put it in. The Bruins went right back on the offense, Sam Olson fed the puck to Jordan Greenberg and Jordan capitalized. The Bruins hit the dressing room up 2-0. The middle frame the Bruins got another goal from Jordan Greenberg, the goal was unassisted. The Blizzard than turned it up a notch as they scored four unanswered goals in the second period. The Bruins hit the dressing room down 4-3. The final frame the Bruins answered back with a goal from Sam Olson and the assist went to the new acquisition Trevor Owens.  The Bruins went back to work as Jeremy Finger hit the back of the net and tallied the game winner, assisting on the goal was Trevor Owens and Jonathan Gerht.  The Bruins are back in action next weekend in Bismarck as they take on the defending Robertson Cup Finals Champions on the 10 and 11th in Bismarck.
