Bruins Beat Wings 3-1

 The Bruins traveled to South Dakota for the first time this season as they kicked off a weekend series against the Aberdeen Wings. The Wings are also an expansion franchise and currently are an even .500 on the season. The Bruins who are coming off of a 5-1 win over Owatonna and have won three of their last five games, got on the board early in the 1st period.  Alex Tesensky got a pass from Cory Ellis and capitalized. The Bruins outshot the Wings 11 to 9 and were leading 1-0 at the first intermission. The second period the Wings picked up the pace but not enough to slow down the Bruins as they added one more tally. This time it was Chase McDonald assists went to John Kirby and Jack Walsh. At the Second intermission the Bruins led 2-0. The final period the Bruins continued to fire on all cylinders, Mike Adomowicz added the Bruins 3rd goal of the game, assisting on the goal was Chase McDonald and Trevor Waldoch. The Wings pumped in a goal late in the third period but it was too late. The Bruins go onto win 3-1, in the first ever meeting between the two teams. Keegan Asmundson picked up his 20th career win in the North American Hockey League and his fifth win this season. Also Alex Tesensky and Jack Walsh have three game point streaks entering tomorrow night’s game.
