Bruins Travel to Aberdeen Wings

The Bruins hit the ice in South Dakota to take on the 6th place Aberdeen Wings. The Bruins came into action with a record of 9-8-1 in 2011. The Bruins have continued to win at Riverside arena boasting an overall home record of 12-10-3. The Wings came into action dropping their last four games in a row and have struggled against the Bruins this season and are winless in five games. The opening frame from the Odde Ice Center was a great start for the black and yellow. Chris Fischer hooked up Sam Olson and just like that the Alaska native pumped in his sixth goal of the season. Next it was Austin leading scorer Charlie Adams who scored; the assist went to Alex Tesensky. At the first intermission the Bruins had a 2-0 lead. The second period the Bruins continued to battle the Wings. Mike Adamowicz added his ninth goal of the season late in the period; the Bruins captain Connor Quinn had the assist. At the second intermission the Bruins had a 3-0 lead. The final period from the Odde Ice Center was solid one for the home team. The Wings added two power play goals in the third period. The Wings could not tie it up late. Keegan Asmundson had another solid night as he stopped 45 pucks and got the 3-2 win. The Bruins will be in action tomorrow night at Riverside Arena.Arrows at Dawn will perform live at the game. Also the first 500 fans to enter Riverside at all of the Bruins remaining 4 home games will receive player trading cards.   Each night will feature 4 different players, handed out at the door when you enter the game. Be sure to make it to every game to collect your full set of cards, and then bring them to the March 19th post game skate to get them all autographed!
