Bruins Fought To the Wire

Sep 18, 2010

Blaine, MN- The Final day of the 8th annual North American Hockey League showcase started early Saturday morning
as the Bruins played the Texas Tornado. The Texas Tornado has one of the best reputations in the
NAHL. The Tornado has won four Robertson cup championships in nine years. The Bruins got their
offense sparked when James Dickinson dented the twine. The tornado tied things up and then it was
Jonathan Gerght adding one more as the Bruins led after one period. The second period the Tornado
tied things up halfway through the period. The third period action was all over the ice as the Tornado
added two early goals. The Bruins answered the call as they added two more goals both from Jeremy
Finger. Ultimately it would be the tornado who punched in a late goal to take the lead. The Bruins
faced off against some of the best competition in the North American Hockey League. The Bruins home
opener is October second as they will take on the Owatonna Express at Riverside arena.
