BRUINS ALUMNI REPORT: Folin Has Career Night

NHL: Christian Folin (Bruins ’10-12) had a career game on Thursday with three assists and a +2 rating in the LA Kings 5-2 win over Columbus. He has tied his NHL career high in points, with ten.

AHL: Eamon McAdam (Bruins ’10-11) picked up the win for Bridgeport with 23 saves as the Sound Tigers dropped Belleville, 4-2 on Saturday. It was McAdam’s first win in the AHL since last season.

SPHL: Charlie Adams (Bruins ’10-12) had two goals and two assists as Pensacola split a two game weekend series with Roanoke, falling 5-1 on Friday and winning 5-2 Saturday. Also on Saturday, Keegan Asmundson (Bruins ’10-11) stopped 23 of 24 shots to help Huntsville top Macon, 4-1.

NCAA DI: Riese Zmolek (Bruins ’14-15) and Ian Scheid (Bruins ’14-15) each had assists as Minnesota State-Mankato rolled through Alaska in the WCHA Quarterfinals by 8-2 and 6-2 final scores. On the other side of the bracket, Justin Misiak (Bruins ’15-17) and Michigan Tech also swept Jay Dickman (Bruins ’12-14) and the Bemidji State Beavers by 5-3 and 5-4 finals. Neither Bruin was on the scoresheet Friday but both found the back of the net on Saturday night. The Huskies will visit Mankato this weekend in the Semifinals. Western Michigan finished their regular season strong with an 8-2 win on Saturday over Colorado College. Dawson DiPietro (Bruins ’15-16) picked up two assists while Austin Rueschhoff (Bruins ’15-16) also added a helper. DiPietro finishes the regular season as the Broncos points leader, with 35. They head to Duluth for a meeting with Jade Miller (Bruins ’14-16) and the Bulldogs in the NCHC Quarterfinals this weekend. Jacob Paganelli (Bruins ’15-16) and the Princeton Tigers are onto the ECAC Quarterfinals after blowing out Brown, 8-2 and 7-1. Paganelli scored a goal Friday while adding an assist on Saturday. Next up for the Tigers is Union.

NCAA DIII: Robbie Goor (Bruins ’15-16) was named to the MIAC Men’s Hockey All-Rookie team, but Gustavus saw their season come to an end with a 3-1 MIAC Championship loss to Augsburg.
