Western Michigan went 0-1-1 on the weekend against St. Cloud State, but Dawson DiPietro (Bruins’15-16) and Austin Rueschhoff (Bruins ’15-16) were on the scoresheet in both games. In a 5-5 tie on Friday, DiPietro scored a goal and added two assists, while Rueschhoff had a helper on one of Dawson’s goals. Scheid picked up one helper each game while Zmolek found the scoresheet Saturday. The Mavericks have won 10 in a row and 13 of 14. It’s been a rough 2018 for the Massachusetts Minutemen but Niko Hildenbrand (Bruins ’13-14) continued to enjoy his year, scoring two goals on February 10th in a 3-0 win over UMass Lowell and coming back with an assist in a loss this past Thursday vs. Boston College. The former Bruins were active on Saturday with Trevor Boyd (Bruins ’14-15) picking up a goal and an assist while Cory Dunn (Bruins ’13-15) tallied two helpers.
