The Austin Bruins wrapped up game four of the Central Division Playoffs in Minot North Dakota Saturday night. The first frame from Maysa Arena was very entertaining. John Simonson gave the Bruins a 1-0 lead as Brandon Wahlin picked up the assist. There were seven penalties in the period although the score remained 1-0 Bruins. The second frame there was no scoring, but the action continued to entertain. At the end of two frames Austin had a 1-0 lead. The third stanza was as tight as the entire series. Veteran goaltender Nick Lehr held down the fort for an Austin Bruins 1-0 shutout victory. With the win Austin has officially taken the best of five series 3 games to 1. The Black and yellow will start the second round of the playoffs next weekend against the Bismarck Bobcats.
