The Black and Yellow Bruins hit the road to greet the Minot Minotauros. The opening stanza from Maysa Arena was action packed with bodies flying everywhere. Austin was able to score with Power Play goal from Jay Dickman, assisting was AJ Reid and Brandon Wahlin. Than it was Kody Reuter who fought Luke Oliver as the Sioux City native prevailed. At the end of two periods of play Austin led 1-0. The second frame Minot scored two unanswered goals early in the frame. Austin was able to counter with a goal from CJ Smith, John Simonson was credited with the assist. At the end of two frames the score was 2-2 and Austin had outshot Minot 30-17. The final period Austin regained the lead 3-2 with a goal from AJ Reid. Austin was able to play strong defensive hockey in the third to keep the score 3-2. Minot pulled Tyler Parks but could not beat Nick Lehr who recorded his 33rd career victory with the victory. Austin will wrap up the series this Saturday Night.
