Austin Shutdown by Chill

The Austin Bruins were back on display at Riverside Arena as they locked twigs with the Chill from the Coulee Region.  The first period the Chill controlled the pace the entire frame. The Ice Blue team added three goals in the first period on just 15 shots. Austin was unable to counter with 13 shots on Blake Cates. The second stanza the Chill continued their dominance scoring four goals in the period Jason Pawloski came in for relief of Nick Lehr. Austin had 28 shots in the second but could not solve Blake Cates. At the end of two periods Austin trailed 7-0. The third frame the Bruins picked up the pace as Jay Dickman went top shelf, assisting was Brandon Wahlin. Austin fired 47 shots on Blake Cates. Austin loses to the Chill for the first time this season 7-1. The Black and Yellow are back on the attack tomorrow night at Riverside. You can hear the Broadcast on AM 1480 KAUS.
